The band RZESZOW KLEZMER BAND was created in November 2004 during the
exhibition at municipal art gallery that was dedicated to Bruno Schulz
creations. Nobody was assumed that it will be the bigginning of
fabulous adventure with klezmer music.The band compose graduates and
followers of Rzeszów music schools:
Jacek Anyszek - clarinet
Mateusz Chmiel - clarinet
Marcin Mucha - accordion
Wojciech Jajuga - double bass
Kamil Siciak - percussion instruments
Sabina Nycek - voc
Kot Dariusz - accordion
The band performed above 100 concerts all-over the Poland. They
Participated in many contests and festivals,ig: 'Nowa Tradycja'
Festival in Warsaw, Kazimierz Dolny Fesival,'Galicja' Multicultural
Festival. For a several times RKB gave their records to Rzeszów Polish
Radio and Polish Television .The creation of RKB is based on klezmer
music standardas,but it has as well marks of jazz and traditional
European music. At present ,significant majority of compositions is
created at its base as own arrangments and interpretations. Their
Former achievment partly compose the record titled 'Siedem'. Young and
energetic musicians cause that music performed by them appeal to wide
circle of publicity.
